On the night of June 24, a rare astronomical event will occur. Five planets at once – Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn – line up in a row in the sky. They will be joined by the Moon, whose crescent will shine between Mars and Venus. Until the end of June, the satellite will move from one planet to another.
The phenomenon is considered rare, because this will happen for the first time in 18 years. And until 2040, this will not happen again, writes Science Focus. The time of the “start of viewing” of the parade of planets at the latitude of Moscow is approximately from 1.30 to 3.00 in the morning. But some planets can be seen as early as midnight.
